Rakia Marcus

 

My Name is Rakia Marcus, co-founder of 500 Queens and I am school counselor at Barrow Arts and Science Academy in Barrow County, GA. I have a passion for education and inspiring and encouraging young people to live up to their fullest potential. I am committed to the ideals of our organization. I am here to serve all queens through academic development, social/emotional development, and career awareness. Many outliers come with the transition to high school, and I want to make sure that those things don't get in the way of your success.

 

 

When I am not at school or working, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I am a wife to Clifford S. Marcus who is the Special Education Coordinator at Loganville Middle School in Walton County. We have three little boys Emory; 7 and Xaden; 5 and Princeston 1, they keep us extremely busy. In my free time, I enjoy crafting, traveling, outdoors activities and dancing.
