About
500 Queens is an organization established by Rakia Marcus and Niviea Williams in the spring of 2016. From what seemed to be a regular daily conversation about their dreams and desires. Little did they know that God was at work! From that conversation, they also discussed the goals they had for young women at Gainesville High School and the Gainesville Community to expose young women to more. In that conversation 500, Queens was born.
The vision of 500 Queens is to establish a group of young women that aspire to become the most powerful piece on the chessboard of life, by empowering high school young ladies in the area of education, economics, self-worth, and womanhood.
We achieve these objectives through our 8 Royalty S.T.E.P.S. Program. This program’s goal is to Strive To Empower Progress in Sisterhood.
-
By developing self-esteem and awareness
-
Improving self- expression, and self- discovery
-
Promoting college and career readiness
-
Queens were able to meet community mentors to help mentor and inspire them to fearlessly go after their dreams with passion, determination, and fearlessness!
We believe all women can embrace who they are,
can define their future, and can change the world.

Our Mission
Inspiring young women to develop the queen within.
